Ganosamhati Andolan on Wednesday announced 94 party candidates for the next parliamentary polls scheduled for February 2026.
Party executive coordinator Abul Hassan Rubel at a press conference at its central office in Hatirpool in Dhaka announced the names and constituencies of the candidates.
The party candidates included Zonayed Saki in Brahmanbaria-6, Abul Hassan Rubel in Pabna-4 and Dhaka-10, Taslima Akhter聽 in Dhaka-12, Hasan Maruf Rumi in Chattogram-9, Monir Uddin Pappu in Dhaka-7, Bachchu Bhuiyan in Dhaka-3, Julhasnayeen Babu in Pabna-12.
Chief coordinator Zonayed Saki said that holding next general election in February was a must for the country鈥檚 democratic transition.
鈥極ur party candidates will take part in the next general election in our party symbol 鈥淢athal鈥�, but there should be provisions enabling candidates to take part in the election with the symbol of the alliance if anyone wants,鈥� Saki said.
Abul Hasdan Rubel said that their party would hold a rally in front of the National Museum in Shahbagh on November 14 at 3:00pm to mark the party鈥檚 10th founding anniversary. At the press conference, Rubel also introduced the party鈥檚 55-member central committee elected at its three-day national conference held from October 31 to November 2.
