Leaders of the Jatiya Mukti Council at a discussion in Dhaka on Friday said that the party would continue movements for establishing the rights of repressed and common people of the country.

Jatiya Mukti Council organised the discussion at the National Press Club to mark the 22nd founding anniversary of the party.


General secretary of the party Faiezul Hakim chaired the discussion.  

Faiezul Hakim said that it would not be possible to establish a constitution and state the through only the reforms.

Our party will continue its movements based on 18 point demands for establishing a constitution and people’s state, where rights of the repressed and common people of the country would be established, Faiezul Hakim said.

Central leader of the party Sajib Roy said that the activities of our party must be reach among the village people of the country who were deprived of their rights.

Another central leader Mojibur Rahman said that the poor people of the villages were eagerly waiting for the leaderships who could establish their rights.

Kazi Iquebal said that the interim government had no right to lease out management to container terminal of Chattogram port to foreign companies.

Central leaders Bhulan Bhowmik, Abdul Hakim, Shafi Rahman and student leader Mitu Sarker, among others spoke at the discussion.
