
Ganosamhati Andolan leaders on Saturday called on the interim government to raise the issue of killing of unarmed Bangladesh nationals in the border areas by the Indian Border Security Force.
Chief coordinator of the party Zonayed Saki at its national council meeting, held at the Gonoshasthya Nagar Hospital auditorium at Dhanmondi in Dhaka city, said condemned the Indian government for not stopping the killing of unarmed Bangladeshis.
He urged the interim government to raise the issue at the United Nations to make India stop the killings and for holding trial of the perpetrators.
Abul Hassan Rubel, executive coordinator of the party, said that interim government had failed to ensure safety and security of people.
He also called on the government to strongly tackle the mob culture.
Chaired by Zonayed Saki, its national council leaders Taslima Akhter, Monir Uddin Pappu, Hasan Maurf Rumi, Bachchu Bhuiyan, among others, spoke at the daylong meeting.
