Premier Bank set up a pavilion at the two-day ‘Belt and Road Initiative in Bangladesh Exhibition 2025,’ said a press release.
Commerce adviser Sk Bashir Uddin inaugurated the expo organised by the Embassy of China in Bangladesh at International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital on September 12.
China ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen gave the keynote address at the inaugural event. Special guests included Power Division additional secretary Md Sabur Hossain and additional secretary and Economic Relations Division wing chief Mirana Mahrukh.
After the inaugural session, adviser Sk Bashir Uddin and ambassador Yao Wen visited Premier Bank pavilion.
At the pavilion, Premier Bank chairman Arifur Rahman, independent director and risk management committee chairman Md Sazzad Hossain, managing director and chief executive officer Mohammad Abu Jafar, additional managing director and Gulshan branch head Nasim Sekander, deputy managing director and chief financial officer Sayed Abul Hashem, deputy managing director and Banani branch head Amalendu Roy and Premier Bank Securities managing director Shahed Sekander welcomed the guests.
