He said that his party wanted to represent in the parliament by being elected through people’s votes, Sarjis said.
He said that the leaders and activists of the party would visit 32 districts of the northern region to share his party’s ideology, hopes and aspirations about Bangladesh with the people.
Sarjis said that the NCP was launched just one month ago and it would try to choose honest, eligible and patriotic people for each of the constituencies for contesting in the next general election.
‘The party aims at nominating candidates for all 300 seats across the country. It is a challenge for the party to select the candidates. But, we are used to in taking challenges,’ said Sarjis.
He said that people witnessed bloodshed during the student-led mass uprising and NCP would work on building a prosperous Bangladesh as per the expectation of the people.
Replying to a query about the structure of the committee, he said that the party would start forming the committees within a week and the district and upazila units would be formed by this month.Â
The party needs the strength and courage of the youths to move forward and it respects the advice and directions of the elders, said Sarjis, urging collective efforts of both young and elder generations for the party.
