A four-member delegation of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party is visiting China at the invitation of the Communist Party of China.
The delegation left Dhaka by a China Airlines flight at about 3:00pm on Thursday, the media cell of the BNP said.
BNP vice chairman Asaduzzaman Ripon is leading the delegation while the other members are the party joint secretary general Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohail, acting organising secretary Anindya Islam Amit, and Jatiyatavadi Krishak Dal joint secretary Mahmuda Habiba.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP鈥檚 media cell, said that they are scheduled to return to Bangladesh on November 16.
The 鈥楶olitical Party Plus鈥� cooperation is scheduled to be held in Beijing from November 7 to November 16.聽 Representatives from Southeast and South Asian countries have been joining the programme.
Political leaders of different countries have been invited to join the event.
