Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts has organised a group art exhibition titled Colours of Bangladesh under way at the Art Pavilion at Mile End Park in London in the United Kingdom.

A part of A Season of Bangla Drama-2024, organised by the Tower Hamlets Council in London, the 12-day exhibition, inaugurated on November 20, aims to promote the country’s art to the art enthusiasts in the UK.  


Curated by Muntasir Ahsan, the exhibition is featuring 70 artworks comprising watercolours, prints and paintings.

Seven artists Monirul Islam, Rafiqun Nabi, Mohammad Eunus, Jamal Ahmed, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Anisuzzaman and Zahura Sultana have displayed their artworks, depicting the tradition, culture, and natural beauty of the country.

‘The exhibition is a showcase of Bangladesh’s rich cultural heritage through the imaginative eyes and creative efforts of the participating artists,’ said Muntasir Ahsan, adding that Abinta Gallery would like to support and promote both emerging and established artists to a global platform.

The exhibition will also comprises a daylong art workshop and an art-talk on the closing day of the exhibition, which will end on December 1.
