A four-day ‘Olympic Solidarity Course-2025’ began in Sylhet on Monday to run activities of the district and divisional sporting organisations more efficiently, strengthen the Olympic movement and spread its values ​​among the new generation.

Sylhet divisional commissioner Khan Md Reza-Un-Nabi, also convener of the ad-hoc committee of Sylhet Divisional Sports Association, inaugurated the solidarity course as the chief guest at Sylhet Divisional Sports Complex.


The director general of the Bangladesh Olympic Association, retired Brigadier General ABM Shefaul Kabir, presided over the programme organised by the Sylhet Divisional Sports Association.  

 The BOA’s national course director Md Mosharraf Hossain Mollah delivered the welcome speech at the inaugural session that was attended, among others, by national course director and senior coach Mohammad Mehedi Hasan, officials of Sylhet District Sports Association, Divisional Sports Association and Bangladesh Olympic Association.

The four-day ‘Olympic Solidarity Course-2025’ is being held with 25 participants, including trainers, organisers and sports teachers of different schools, colleges and sports organisations in the district.
