The 30th annual general meeting of Al-Arafah Islami Bank was held virtually on Wednesday at the bank鈥檚 head office, said a press release.

Chairman Khwaja Shahriar presided over the meeting.


Board directors Md Shahin Ul Islam, Md Abdul Wadud, Mohammed Abu Eusuf, Mohammad Asraful Hassan, managing director (acting) Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, among others, attended the meeting.聽

Company secretary (acting) Mohammad Moniruzzaman presented agenda of the meeting.

At the end of 2024, the bank recorded 8.37 per cent deposit growth and 6.68 per cent investment growth, with shareholders approving all agendas, including the 2024 financial statements and auditor appointments, the release said.

During the session, shareholders reviewed the bank鈥檚 financial statements and expressed their satisfaction with its overall performance and activities.

They also shared constructive and valuable recommendations aimed at further strengthening the bank鈥檚 image and enhancing its operational excellence.

Khwaja Shahriar outlined the future plans for the development of the Bank and thanked the shareholders for participating in the virtual meeting.

He sought everyone鈥檚 full cooperation in the management of the bank.
