The Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Thursday morning arrested a man along with two crude bombs at Mirpur in the capital.
Confirming the incident, Kafrul police station officer-in-charge Abdullah Al Mamun said that the police arrested the man at Mirpur 14 at about 11:00am.
Meanwhile, the police also detained a suspected youth at Dhanmondi 32.
Dhanmondi police station officer-in-charge Kya Swe Nu said that the police detained the youth as he seemed suspicious.
The further details would be known after questioning the suspect, he added.
