
Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC on Wednesday signed a strategic partnership agreement with Shamadhan Services Limited, a concern of Grameen Telecom, said a press release.
Under the agreement, the bank will leverage Shamadhan to strengthen its digital financial services and enhance customer convenience.
AIB deputy managing director SM Abu Jafar and Shamadhan chief executive officer Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui signed the agreement at the bank鈥檚 head office.
Among others, AIB MFS and digital banking head Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Shamadhan chief operating officer Mohammad Anwar Hossain, product and pricing head Md Salah Uddin Tanvir and business and strategy head ABM Saiful Bari attended the event.
