Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC on Monday shifted its Centralised Trade Services Division, Gulshan Hub, Dhaka, said a press release.
The division will now operate at Devotech Technology Park Limited, holding no 11, road no 113/A at Gulshan in the capital.
Due to demand of customers and policy decision of the bank to centrally manage the import and export trade to provide risk-free services, the CTSD was shifted to a new location, it said.
Managing director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the division at the new address as chief guest on the day.
Additional managing director Imtiaz U Ahmed and deputy managing director MM Saiful Islam were present as special guests.
Vice-president and CTSD head Galib Mahmood presided over the event.
SJIB public relations division head and head of Bank Foundation KM Harunur Rashid moderated the programme.
Among others, SEVP and internal control and compliance division head Mohammed Ashfaqul Hoque and CFO Md Jafar Sadeq were present.
