Emdadul Hoque Chowdhury has been elected chairman of Takaful Islami Securities Limited for next two years, said a press release.
The decision was taken during the company鈥檚 22nd board meeting held on Saturday in the capital.
Takaful Islami Securities is a subsidiary of Takaful Islami Insurance PLC.
Emdadul is also managing director of Kattali Textile Limited and chairman of Lucky Group.
He served as chairman of Takaful Islami Insurance for 2 years from 2012 to 2014. He also was vice chairman of Takaful Islami Insurance for a long time.
Presently, he is serving as chairman of insurance committee of BGMEA. He is also a life member of Chattogram Press Club.
