Financial Institutions Division secretary Nazma Mobarek, under the Ministry of Finance, visited the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) on Monday.

On the occasion of her visit, ICB arranged a discussion meeting on the overall affairs of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh at the head office of ICB.


The meeting was presided over by Niranjan Chandra Debnath, managing director of ICB.

Professor Abu Ahmed, chairman of the board of directors of ICB was present as guest of honour. During the meeting, managing director of ICB delivered a presentation on the overall position of ICB.

The secretary reviewed ICB鈥檚 activities, provided guidance on various matters, and expressed satisfaction with its overall performance.

The event was also attended by senior officials of the Financial Institutions Divisions including Md Sayed Kutub, additional secretary, Delwar Hossain, joint secretary, Farjana Jahan, senior assistant secretary, and Muhammad Mizanur Rahman, PS to the secretary.

In addition, Md Nurul Huda, deputy managing director of ICB; chief executive officers of subsidiary companies; general managers; and other senior officials of ICB were present at the meeting.
