The 88th meeting of Shari鈥檃h Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC was held recently at the corporate head office of the bank.
The committee chairman Mufti Shahed Rahmani presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues related to Shari鈥檃h compliance in overall Islamic banking operations.
Among others Shari鈥檃h Supervisory Committee members Muhammad Sadequl Islam, Mufti Yousuf Sultan, Maulana Shah Mohammad Wali Ullah, managing director of the bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, company secretary Md Abul Bashar, chief financial officer Md Jafar Sadeq, and the head of Shari鈥檃h secretariat of the bank Maulana Md Farid Uddin were also present in the meeting.
The formal proceedings of the meeting began with the recitation from the Qur鈥檃n and the meeting was concluded with prayer wishing continued prosperity of the bank.
