Pubali Bank PLC has gifted a microbus to Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology as a part of its corporate social responsibility, said a press release.
Pubali Bank managing director and chief executive officer Mohammad Ali recently handed over the key to AUST chairman Golam Rahman.
Among others, AUST vice-chancellor Md Ashraful Hoque, pro-vice-chancellor Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, treasurer Sharmin Reza Chowdhury and Pubali Bank assistant general manager Mohammad Mizanur Rahman were present at the time.
In his speech, Mohammad Ali said that Pubali Bank was not only a profit oriented organisation; apart from this, it continued to contribute to education sector as part of its social responsibility.
He said that this gift would serve as a symbol of friendship and mutual cooperation between the two organisations in the days to come.
