Trust Bank PLC has reached a significant milestone of $1 billion in inward remittance within July, capturing a 5.70 per cent market share among the 60 scheduled banks in Bangladesh to date, said a press release.
To celebrate this accomplishment, the bank hosted a commemorative event on Sunday graced by Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, who is also chairman of Trust Bank.
Among others, Trust Bank vice-chairman Major General Md Hakimuzzaman and managing director and chief executive officer Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury were present in the event.
Other senior officials of the bank were also present.
