Karmasangsthan Bank on Monday organised a voluntary blood donation campaign at its head office as part of its July uprising initiatives, said a press release.
Managing director Arun Kumar Chowdhury inaugurated the programme.
Among others, deputy managing director Meher Sultana, general managers Mahmuda Yasmin, Md Shafiqul Islam Miah and Md Amirul Islam were present.
The program was conducted by marketing unit principal officer Mohammad Nasimul Haque.
In his speech, Arun Kumar Chowdhury offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs of the July uprising and wished for the speedy recovery of those who were injured.
He further stated that blood donation was not only an act of humanity but the highest form of giving that can save lives.
He extended heartfelt thanks to all who participated spontaneously, including Red Crescent.
