Janata Bank PLC has recently secured first place in implementation of E-Credit Management System Innovation Action Plan 2025, said a press release.
The bank won the recognition under state-owned commercial bank category.
Finance adviser Salehuddin Ahmed as chief guest handed over the honour to Janata Bank managing director Md Mazibur Rahman at an event organised by the Financial Institutions Division in the capital.
Special assistant to the chief adviser Anisuzzaman Chowdhury was present as a special guest. FID secretary Nazma Mobarek presided over the event.
Other senior government officials were also present.
