Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh on Tuesday held its 3rd meeting of board of directors for the term 2024-2025, said a press release.
Chairman Md Rezaul Karim presided over the meeting held at the council’s office in the capital.
Among others, senior vice-chairman Md Ariful Ahsan, vice-chairman Ganesh Chandra Saha, directors Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan, Syed Md Bakhtiar, Md Nurussafa Babu, Ziaul Islam, Ataur Rahman Khan and KM Arifuzzaman attended the meeting.
The meeting approved the minutes of the council’s previous meeting, accounts statement and new membership. It also discussed about nomination of five SCB representatives in general body for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 periods of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
