As part of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC鈥檚 corporate social responsibility, the bank provided financial assistance for the construction of a basketball court for the students of Bandura Holy Cross School and College at Nawabganj in Dhaka.
The newly constructed basketball court was inaugurated on Saturday. The Archbishop of Dhaka Archdiocese Most Rev Bejoy N D鈥機ruze, OMI was present as the chief guest at the programme.
The managing director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed formally inaugurated the basketball court.
The former student of Bandura Holy Cross School and College and director and chairman of Executive Committee Akkas Uddin Mollah, provincial superior of St Joseph Province Brother Ripon James Gomes, former headmaster of Bandura Holy Cross School & College Brother Prodip L Rozario, chairman of governing body Father Kamol Corraya were present in the program presided over by the college principal Brother Toren J Palma.
