ONE Bank PLC has arranged a daylong programme titled ‘Exchange of Views on Shariah Governance,’ said a press release.
Managing director (current charge) Shabbir Ahmed inaugurated the event at Hotel Holiday Inn in Dhaka on Saturday.
Additional managing director Abu Zafore Md Saleh delivered the welcome speech.
Bangladesh Bank additional director Mohammad Zakir Hossain and Islamic Banking Regulation and Policy Department deputy director Aftab Uddin were present as special guests. They also conducted sessions on Islamic banking.
Senior executives and zonal heads of the bank were also present.
