
Mercantile Bank PLC and Mastercard announced their collaboration to launch a comprehensive portfolio of new cards, offering unmatched convenience, benefits and financial flexibility to cardholders in Bangladesh.
In this connection a grand launching ceremony was held on Saturday at Radisson Blue Water Garden graced by Salehuddin Ahmed, adviser, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Science & Technology as chief guest.
Anwarul Haque, chairman, Mercantile Bank PLC spokes on the occasion as special guests while Mati Ul Hasan, managing director of Mercantile Bank presided over the meeting.
Md Zahid Hossain, deputy managing director & CBO and Tapash Chandra Paul, CFO of the bank also spokes on the occasion.
Akram Hossain (Humayun), vice-chairman; MA Khan Belal, chairman of Executive Committee; Mohammad Abdul Awal, chairman of Risk Management Committee and Mosharref Hossain, director and Md Zakir Hossain and Shamim Ahmed deputy managing directors; Mostafizur Rahman, head of Cards of Mercantile Bank PLC, Zakia Sultana, director, Mastercard Bangladesh along with senior officials from bank and Mastercard also took part in the discussion.
