Sheikh Farid and Md Matiur Rahman have joined BASIC Bank Limited as directors, said a press release.
The finance ministry鈥檚 Financial Institutions Division recently issued a gazette notification in this regard.
Farid and Matiur participated in the bank鈥檚 board 678th meeting on April 30, when chairman Helal Ahmed Chowdhury congratulated them with flower bouquets.
Sheikh Farid is also joint secretary of the FID, while Md Matiur Rahman is a Professional Accountant.
Among others, directors Md M Latif Bhuiyan, Md Rafiqul Islam, managing director and chief executive officer Md Quamruzzaman, deputy managing directors Abu Md Mofazzal, Md Rafiqul Islam and general manager and company secretary Md Hasan Imam were present.
