Hamas and Israeli negotiators left Cairo on Thursday ‘after a two-day round of negotiations’ for a truce in the seven-month war in Gaza, Egypt’s state-linked Al-Qahera News reported.

Efforts by Egyptian, Qatari and US mediators ‘are ongoing to bring the two sides’ points of view closer,’ the media outlet reported, citing a high-level Egyptian source.
