At least two men died of Coronavirus and three others were infected in the past 24 hours till Monday 8:00am in Bangladesh.
The newly deceased has been described as a man between 51 and 60 from Chattogram. He died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chattogram, according to the Directorate General of Health Services press release.
抖阴精品 correspondent in Khulna reported that a 25-year-old man died at Khulna Medical College Hospital on early Monday. This is the first death of any Coved patient this year in Khulna.
The victim was identified as Dip Roy, son of Dilip Roy, and a resident of Shapnapuri area under Batiaghata upazila in Khulna, according to hospital register.
Resident medical officer of KMCH Khan Ahmed Ishtiaq said that Dip was first admitted to a private hospital in city with Covid.
The victim was transferred to KMCH on Sunday at about 4:00pm when his condition deteriorated. Dip died at about 3:20am Monday while he was undergoing treatment in the ICU.
However, DGHS did not include the death in their list so far.
This year, including the latest one, Covid death toll has risen to 28, while 704 hospitalisations.
Covid-19 patient was first found in the country on March 8 in 2020.
So far, 29,527 people have died of the disease in the country, according to the official account, while the cumulative number of Covid patients has reached 20,52,249.
