Bangladesh emerged runners-up in the La Liga Youth Tournament 2025 after a narrow 1-0 loss to Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
The Bangladesh Under-16 team, representing the country under the banner of Zafrani Sporting Club, competed against teams from Spain, India, Pakistan, and Malaysia in the four-day tournament.
The historic participation was made possible through Hello Superstars, an innovative mobile application platform that enabled online registration for the tournament directly from Bangladesh.

Following a comprehensive selection and training process conducted by Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan, Zafrani Sporting Club was approved to represent the country on the international stage.
