Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers across the country over 24 hours commencing 10:00am on Thursday.
鈥楲ight to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country鈥�, said a Met office bulletin.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country, it added.
The country鈥檚 highest 39mm rainfall was recorded in Ramgati in 24 hours till 6:00am Thursday.
