Students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Presidency University recently participated in Engineering Expedition 2025, held at the IT Business Incubator (ITBI) of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology recently.

The three-day programme encouraged students to experience learning beyond the classroom, where knowledge, technology, and creativity meet. Through hands-on sessions and expert interactions, participants explored how classroom ideas can transform into real-world innovations.

The expedition was convened and led by faculty members Mostofa Kamal Sagor and Nafia Mollik, whose guidance turned each activity into a meaningful learning opportunity. Their mentorship motivated students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and apply their technical knowledge in creative ways.

Throughout the event, participants attended a series of workshops and talks, including Python Programming and its Applications by Md Refaj Hassan, fellow, CUET NLP Lab; Artificial Intelligence: Future of the Next Generation by Professor M Moshiul Hoque, director of ITBI and Professor of CSE, CUET, along with Rana Sharif; Cyber Security Workshop by Md Iftekharul Islam, IT security analyst, Portwest Limited; Startup and Seed Funding Project by Arafatul Islam Akib, founder and CEO, Startup Chattogram; and Developing a Website in One Day by Md Ronju Mia, senior web developer, Diligite Limited.
