
The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations will be published today.
This year the results from all the 11 boards are set to be published separately at 10:00am.
The candidates will get the results in four ways—via websites of the board and institutions concerned, by sending mobile phones messages and by visiting their own educational institutions.
No central programme will be held today to publish combined results of the exams.
The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee under the education ministry will hold an exchange-of-views meeting with journalists at the office of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka in the capital at 10:00am today on the results.
The students can get the results by downloading it from their own board’s and educational institution’s websites, sending messages and from the notice board at their own educational institutions.
The result sheet can be downloaded from the website (www.educationboardresults.gov.bd) and the websites of the education board concerned by clicking the result corner and entering the educational institution’s EIIN.
Examinees can also get results by sending an SMS to 16222. For the SMS content one has to type—HSC, first three letters of the board’s name, roll number and year (for example: HSC Dha 123456 2024).
For re-examination of answer papers, applications can be submitted between October 17 and 23 via https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd.
The process of application will be published in the education boards websites and advertisement on newspapers.
This year’s HSC and equivalent exams were held between June 26 and August 31.
Total 12.51 lakh students—6.33 lakh female and 6.18 lakh male—sat for the exams this year at 2,797 centres under 11 education boards—nine general, one technical, and one madrassah.
