Bangladesh look to finish on a positive note as they take on India in their seventh and final game of the ICC Women鈥檚 World Cup at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai today.聽

The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm Bangladesh Standard Time.聽

The match bears no significance in terms of the tournament scenario, as India have already qualified for the semifinals, whereas Bangladesh have crashed out.

However, Bangladesh would finish ahead of Pakistan, after securing their only win of the tournament against them, so far.

The Nigar Sultana Joty-led team was eliminated from the semifinal race after a narrow defeat to Sri Lanka, losing by seven runs.聽

Chasing 202, Bangladesh needed 12 from 12, but somehow bottled it as they lost five wickets for just one run, including four wickets in the first four deliveries of the last over.聽

The defeat against Sri Lanka mirrored Bangladesh鈥檚 overall performance in the marquee event, during which they squandered several golden opportunities, despite some commendable displays by their bowlers.聽

Before Sri Lanka, they let go of England with four-wicket and three-wicket victories, respectively.聽

For India, on the other hand, the match offers a stage to fine-tune before the semifinal, as their position won鈥檛 change after the outcome of the match.
