Rain forced the second and final four-day match between the Bangladesh Emerging team and visiting South Africa to end in a draw at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday.
The fourth day was completely washed out, following a similar abandonment on the third day due to nationwide rain.
South Africa were 152-6 and trailing by 219 runs when rain stopped the proceedings on the second day after the hosts managed 371 in the first innings. With the draw, both teams shared the two-match series. Bangladesh had earlier clinched the three-match one-day series 2-1 in Rajshahi.
The match also drew attention for a heated on-field altercation between Bangladesh pacer Ripon Mondol and South African off-spinner Tshepo Ntuli.
Despite the tense exchange, no official disciplinary action has been announced by the cricket board.
