Bangladesh women’s national team have called up 15-year-old right-arm pacer Habiba Islam Pinky for their five-match Twenty20 Internationals series against India beginning later this month.

She is also the only uncapped player in the Bangladesh squad. 26-year-old batter Rubya Haider Jhelik, who previously played three T20Is, has also returned for this series.

There are two changes to the Bangladesh squad from their series against Australia as Pinky and Jhelik have replaced Sumaiya Akter and Farzana Akter Lisa in the squad.

Sumaiya has been kept as a standby for the series alongside Nishita Akter Nishi.

All five matches of the series will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on April 28, 30, May 2, 6, and 9.

India toured Bangladesh in 2023, where they won the T20I series 2-1 as Bangladesh won the last match of the three-match series.
