Social organisation Bandhan organised blood donors awarding ceremony separately in the auditoriums of Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall and Haji Muhammad Muhsin Hall of Dhaka University on Friday.
Dhaka University vice-chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan was present as chief guest at the ceremony organised by Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall unit of Bandhan.
Dhaka University pro-vice chancellor (education) Professor Mamun Ahmed was present as chief guest at the awarding ceremony at Haji Muhammad Muhsin Hall unit of Bandhan.
The blood donors, including the principals, advisory teachers, and the president and general secretary of the hall units of Bandhan, were present at the two separate ceremonies.
It is worth noting that 38 blood donors from Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall and 42 blood donors from Haji Muhammad Muhsin Hall were honoured at the programmes, said a press release.
