Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) administrator and Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) managing director Md Shahjahan Miah has been transferred to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Wednesday, which was made public on Thursday.
Shahjahan, who had been serving as additional secretary for the development wing at the Local Government Division, has been transferred to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief as an additional secretary.
The order takes immediate effect in the public interest, the notification said.
Earlier, on February 13, Shahjahan was appointed as DSCC administrator while serving as an additional secretary at the Local Government Division. On May 18, he was also given the charge of managing director of Dhaka WASA.
