An unidentified woman was killed in a road accident over Postogola Bridge in Shyampur area of the capital on early Tuesday.
Iqbal Hossain, sub-inspector of Shyampur Police Station, said that an unidentified vehicle hit the woman at about 5:30am, leaving her injured.
On information, she was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
However, police were trying to identify the vehicle checking the CCTV footage.
