The government has appointed new deputy commissioners to three districts, while DC of Feni was transferred to Chattogram district.
In this regard, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification on Wednesday.
The appointments will come into effect immediately, the notification said.
鈥楾hese BCS admin cadre officials will perform their duties as deputy commissioners and district magistrates,鈥� it said.
Under the new appointments, power division deputy secretary Mohammad Solaiman was posted to the DC of Chapainawabganj, financial institutions DS Afsana Bilkis to the DC of Madaripur and secondary and higher secondary division DS Manira Haque to the DC of Feni.
Besides, Feni DC Saiful Islam was transferred to Chattogram as DC and district magistrate.
The notification also said that the transfer order of Mohammad Abdul Awal, DC of Naogaon, to DC of Chattogram was cancelled.
