Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC has handed over three cheques totalling Tk 9,06,68,069 to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission for revenue sharing and social responsibility fund.
Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, special assistant to chief adviser on the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Abdun Naser Khan, secretary, posts and telecommunications division, handed over the cheques to BTRC chairman Md Emdad Ul Bari, said a press release.
Managing director of Bangladesh Submarine Cables, Md Aslam Hossain, along with senior officials of the department of posts and telecommunications and BTRC were present at the event.
