Daffodil International University has marked its global presence in the United States News Best Global Universities Rankings 2025–26.
DIU has secured the 1022nd position worldwide and has been secured the first position among the private universities and third among all universities in Bangladesh, standing just behind the University of Dhaka and University of Rajshahi, said a press release on Monday.
This year, the ranking evaluated more than 2,346 universities worldwide across 105 countries, focusing primarily on research performance and global reputation of universities.
This achievement reflects DIU’s commitment to fostering quality research, innovation and international collaborations while ensuring global exposure for its faculty, students and alumni.
DIU emphasises its mission to ‘transform knowledge into practice’ and its continued efforts to position Bangladesh prominently on the global higher education landscape, added the press release.
