A construction worker died after falling from the roof of an under-construction house in Kamrangirchar of Dhaka on Monday.
The deceased is Ali Hossain, 50, a resident of Nurbag area.
The incident happened at around 2:30pm in Nurbag Puraton Fari Goli area.
Ali Hossain was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in serious condition, but doctors declared him dead at around 3:30pm.
Victim鈥檚 son Md Sakib said that his father was a construction worker. While working on the second-floor roof of a building, he accidentally fell.
Inspector Md Faruk, in charge of the DMCH police camp, said that the body was kept in the hospital morgue.
He added that the local police station was informed about the incident.
