Adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Sheikh Bashir Uddin has been appointed as chairman of the board of directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.
In this regard, a gazette notification was issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism on Tuesday, said a press release.
Sheikh Bashir Uddin has been made chairman of the board of directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited in line with its articles of association.
The appointment of Biman’s current chairman and former caretaker government adviser Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury has been cancelled.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines also extended congratulations to Sheikh Bashir Uddin.
