A minor boy went missing after falling into the River Arial Khan at Farajikandi area of Kalikapur in Madaripur Sadar on Saturday.
The child, Sulaiman, 3, was son of Sumon Byapari.
The child went to the river bank near his house and suddenly fell into the water and disappeared instantly, said eyewitnesses.
A diving team of the Madaripur fire service continued the rescue operations. However, the child has not been found.
聽Madaripur Sadar police station officer-in-charge Adil Hossain said, 鈥楾he fire service was informed immediately after the incident. They are trying to search the river and rescue the child. He has not been found yet.鈥�
