Inter Services Public Relation Directorate director Lieutenant Colonel Sami Ud Dowla Chowdhury in a text to media on Wednesday said that rumours were spreading on social media about the death toll in Monday鈥檚 Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crash on a building of Milestone School and College at Uttara in Dhaka.
鈥楳any people believe the rumours without understanding,鈥� said the ISPR director in a text to media through a social media group.
鈥楢s the director of the ISPR, I clearly announced that any mass media can conduct an investigation, take interviews of anyone in the Bangladesh Army, or visit any place concerned,鈥� said Sami Ud Dowla Chowdhury.
鈥榃e are prepared to provide the maximum level of assistance and will provide the utmost support when it is necessary.鈥�
The death toll from Monday鈥檚 BAF jet crash reached 32, including 25 students, till Wednesday.
