As part of the programme titled ‘July Uprising Revival’, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology provided educational assistance to an injured in the July uprising, Kaushik Islam Apurba , at the hall room of the RUET in Rajshahi on Thursday.
Kaushik Islam received educational assistance a check of one lakh taka, said a press release.
Apurba was shot in the leg in the Alpatti area of Rajshahi city and was attacked again on the way to the hospital on August 5 in the past year.
Professor Md Rabiul Islam Sarkar, president of the ‘July Uprising Revival Organising Committee and director of the Student Welfare directoarate, said that educational assistance will continue in the future.
At the programme, RUET teachers, officials and students spoke about the Jul uprising, expressing their hope to eliminate corruption and inequality in every aspect of society by embodying the spirit of the July uprising.
The programme was presided over by Professor Md Rabiul Islam Sarkar.
