
Freedom fighter and vice-president of Bangladesh Trade Union Centre Lutfar Rahman died at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka on Monday.
He was 75. He is survived by his widow and only daughter.
Central leader of the BTUC Kazi Ruhul Amin told ¶¶Òõ¾«Æ· that Lutfar Rahman died at the CMH at 3:00pm. ‘He was suffering from age-related complications.’
Lutfar Rahman was a former central leader of Communist Party of Bangladesh.
For paying last respects to the leader, his body will be taken at the CPB central office at Purana Paltan at 10:00am today.
His body will be buried at the Banani graveyard, his family members said.
