Engineer Md Enayet Ullah joined Bangladesh Water Development Board as director general on Monday.
Before joining as DG, he worked as additional director general for the east region of the board, said a press release.
Enayet Ullah obtained BSc in civil engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology in 1989.
He joined the BWDB as assistant engineer in 1993. Later, he performed his duties in various departments of the board. Before serving as additional director general, he served as chief engineer of the design department.
Enayet Ullah, during his 33-year service at the Bangladesh Water Development Board, participated in international seminars and trainings held in various countries, including Indonesia, India, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Russia and the United States.
He is a life member of the Institution of Engineers Bangladesh.
