
The offices of the district administrations of Feni and Noakhali on Wednesday announced to suspend examinations and close educational institutions for two days from Wednesday due to incessant raining.
In Feni, decision was taken to suspend the mid-term examinations in the secondary level educational institutions in the district while the institutions were not announced to be closed.
In Noakhali, all educational institutions in five upazilas were announced closed.
Decision for the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examination on Thursday would be taken soon, said officials.

Feni additional deputy commissioner (education and ICT) Fatima Sultana said that decision was taken to suspend all examinations in the secondary level educational institutions in the district.
Currently no examinations were ongoing in the primary level educational institutions, she said and added that no decision was taken to close the educational institutions.
Feni deputy commissioner Saiful Islam said that they were observing the situation and the Cumilla education board would take decision on HSC exam to be held tomorrow.
Noakhali deputy commissioner Khandaker Ishtiaque Ahmed told ¶¶Òõ¾«Æ· that they had taken a decision on Wednesday morning to close all educational institutions at Noakhali Sadar, Companiganj, Subarnochar, Kabirhat and Begumganj upazilas.
Cumilla education board controller of examinations Professor Runa Nasreen said that on Thursday the exam on the ICT subject would be held under the ongoing HSC exams.
‘We will take decision by afternoon after observing the weather,’ she added.
