With the aim of building a new Bangladesh, Bangladesh Rural Development Board held a workshop titled Power of Youth, Prosperity of Bangladesh at the conference room of the BRDB in Dhaka on Thursday.
BRDB鈥檚 director general for routine responsibilities Sardar Md Keramat Ali was present as chief guest at the workshop, which was chaired by BRDB鈥檚 training director Md Nasir Uddin, said a press release on Friday.
Keramat Ali said that only the power of youth could reconstruct the country. 鈥楳ost of our (BRDB) beneficiary members are young people. We will contribute to the innovative power of youth and the reconstruction of the country by adopting new projects through this workshop today.鈥�
Mentioning that BRDB is one of the largest institutions of the government working at the root level in Bangladesh, Zahidul Islam, joint secretary, RDCD, said, 鈥楢ny steps taken by BRDB on the occasion of the youth festival will definitely be fruitful.鈥�
Also present at the workshop were BRDB director, joint director, deputy director and officials of Rural Development and Cooperatives Department.聽
