At least 22 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the past 24 hours till Saturday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
Of the new cases, seven were reported in Chattogram division, one each in Dhaka and Barishal divisions, six in Dhaka North City Corporation and seven in Dhaka South City Corporation.
During the same period, 13 dengue patients were discharged after receiving treatment.
Since January 1, the country has recorded 4,345 dengue cases and 23 deaths.
The country reported 1,01,214 cases and 575 deaths from the mosquito-borne disease in the past year.
