A Narayanganj court on Sunday placed Selina Hayat Ivy, former mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation, on a two-day remand in a case filed with Siddhirganj police station.
Narayanganj senior judicial magistrate Md Nur Mahsin passed the order when police produced her before the court with a seven-day remand prayer, said court inspector Kaiyum Khan.
Police arrested Ivy from her residence on May 9 in connection with the murder of Minarul during the anti-discrimination student movement.
Ivy was wanted in six cases filed with Siddhirganj and Fatulla police stations.
